Fr Colin Patey is inviting you to join the following Holy Week zoom events:
Watching with Jesus in Gethsemane
Many of us are very thankful that we shall be able to celebrate Holy Week and Easter in Church this year. However, because of the pandemic, some familiar, precious elements will be missing. I shall particularly miss the Watch at the Altar of Repose after the Mass of the Lord’s Supper on Holy Thursday. To help fill the gap, I invite you to join me on Zoom at 9.30pm on Holy Thursday, April 1st. I will offer a time of quiet reflection ending with Compline, the Night Prayer of the Church. I will keep participants’ microphones and video off throughout, so that we can be as quiet and prayerful as possible.
The time of prayer will last about 30 minutes. Everything you need will be on screen.
You can register by using this link: https://zoom.us/meeting/register/tJYtce6uqTorHtNO_wUQWJdbVD8u1z9A1PT6
After registering, you will receive a confirmation email with your own personal link.
The Divine Office during the Sacred Triduum
There is no morning Mass Thursday – Saturday of Holy Week. Because of this, it is good to have a community celebration of the Divine Office (the Prayer of the Church which priests, deacons and religious say each day) on these days.
The prayer each day will last about 30 minutes. Everything you need will be on screen.
I am offering Office of Readings and Lauds (Morning Prayer) on Zoom as follows:
Holy Thursday, 1st April, 9.00am
Good Friday, 2nd April, 9.00am
Holy Saturday, 3rd April, 9.00am
The prayer each day will last about 30 minutes. Everything you need will be on screen.
You can register by using this link:

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email with your own personal link which will enable you to participate on as many of these days as you wish.
If possible, please join about 5 minutes before the start.
Notes
I am not offering Stations of the Cross on Good Friday: I don’t want to compete with anything which might be going on in parishes.
